NOVARA TERRA SOPRA LE ACQUE
As part of a broader urban investigation project, the workshop explores a net of paths moving from the rice fields surrounding the city to the high school’s courtyard. Spanning from Gordon Cullen to Dino Campana, from irrigation ditches to the inkpot on the desk, the students are invited to observe analogies and patterns recurring between landscape, art, architecture and daily life, indoor and outdoor spaces, to build a meta narrative based on the theme of water, and binding the territory to everyday scenarios.
The workshop resulted in a poster exhibition, accompanied by a collective book gathering the academic searches as well as individual exploration, process and outcomes.
